Lets start at the very beginning, a very good place to start. When you read you begin with A, B, C, when you sing you begin with Do, Re, Me, and when you apply you being with Site, Application, Interview.

A few things before we go on to the application...

Log Cabin Wilderness Camp, if you have never visited, is a bit smaller than the other summer camps you may have gone to. Since we have a small camp, staff is also smaller, not height wise but in numbers. A small staff means a closer staff and through the years all the staff has become family, now I'm not saying you will feel left out, because we are a growing family, each year a few people leave and a few more come in. We are an ever changing group and we all find ways to connect with each other. We are quite welcoming of all people and we know that you will become not only a staff member but a great friend.

We are a High Adventure Base for the Los Angeles Area Council Boy Scouts of America. This means that we are geared towards more advanced activities such as rock climbing, High COPE, Backpacking treks and Peak Bagging. Some of these activities require certification which you can earn during staff week and training, but we are also looking for people who have higher certifications.
